- Get 1 inch ginger
- Take 2 slit green chillies
- Take 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

- In a kadhai heat oil, add whole garam masala and fry for a minute on low heat. Add cumin seeds and allow to splutter.
- Further add masala paste, cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.
- Next add cumin powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Mix well and cook for 1 minute.
- Add tomato paste and then amchur powder, chana masala and coriander powder. Mix and cook on low flame. Cook for 2 minutes
- Now add amchur powder, chana masala and coriander powder. Mix well and cook till water evaporated.
- When water evaporates from masala add salt, boiled chana and water for gravy. Cover and boil for 5 minutes on low flame.
- For tempering/tadka - - Half an hour before serving, heat ghee in wok and temper ajwain seeds, ginger juliens and green chilli. Mix it with Chole masala.
