- Take 3 tsp oil/ ghee
- Prepare 1 bay leaf
- Make ready 1 star anise
- Take 2 cloves

- Now add 2 cup water and stir well. - cover and pressure cook for 1 whistles. - Finally, garnish with coriander and serve chana pulao along with any raita or any veg or non veg curry.
