- Prepare 1 cup Semolina
- Prepare 1/4 cup Peanuts
- Take leaves Few Curry

- Take 2 tblspn Yogurt/Curd

Made with wholesome semolina and loaded with your favorite veggies. Semolina is the coarse, purified wheat middlings of durum wheat mainly used in making upma, pasta, and couscous. The word semolina can also refer to sweet dessert made from semolina and milk. Upma Savory Semolina Dish is also known as Uppumavu or Uppittu and is a common South Indian, Maharashtrian and Sri Lankan Tamil Breakfast / Tiffin dish.
Steps to make Semolina veggie upma:
- Fry the peanuts and set aside.
- Chop the veggies and set aside
- Dry roast the semolina and take out in a bowl.
- Now heat 2 tblspn oil /ghee in a wok, add in the hing, mustard seeds and then chillies followed by curry leaves.
- Add in the vegetables and saute.
- Add salt and chilli powder. Then add roasted semolina and water along with the yogurt. Mix well and cook on low flame.
- Cook till it gets upto the desired consistency. Serve hot,Enjoy !!!
