- Make ready 2 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
- Get 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- Prepare 2 tbsp chopped green chilli

It uses papad - a north Indian style papad specifically. Papad is a thin, crisp disc-shaped Indian food typically based on a seasoned dough made from urad flour, fried or cooked with dry heat and are typically served as an accompaniment to a meal. The Indian Papad or Papadum as it's also known can best be described as a type of tortilla, wafer or flat bread. The first thing that my family orders every time we are dining in a restaurant is masala papad.
Instructions to make Papad Ball:
- Take a bowl add mashed potatoes, onion, green chilli, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, bread crumbs, kitchen king masala, coriander powder and salt. Mix it well.
- Now make a small lemon sized ball and refrigerate for half an hour. Now in a jar add papad and grind it coarsely. And keep aside.
- Now take a bowl add add maida and water mix well and make a slurry. And dip the potato ball in it. Remove the ball from slurry and drop it into grind papad crumbs. Cover the potato ball with papad crumbs nicely. Coat the all potato ball like this and keep aside.
- Now heat the oil and drop one by one potato ball in the oil and deep fry the balls untill golden brown. Serve it with tomato sauce or green chutney.
