Steps to make Mix Veg Upma:
- Turn on gas, keep a vessel on it, pour water, boil chopped potato, carrot and green peas.
- Take a kadai, keep on gas, turn on medium flame, add oil, add rai, chana dal, urad dal, saute it, add curry leaves, green chillies, ginger and cashews. Mix well.
- Now add chopped onion, saute till it turns soft.. Add capsicum, saute for 2 minutes, now add tomato, mix well, saute till turn soft.. Finally add boiled carrot, potato, green peas. Mix well.
- Add turmeric powder, taste to salt, mix well. Now add roasted rava, saute for couple of minutes, add dahi, mix well, now turn to slow flame, add gradually water as needed to make upma, stir continuously, make sure, there should not be any lumps while making upma.. As slightly thickens, turn off gas. Add chopped coriander. Ready to serve hot upma.
- In a plate, serve hot upma, garnish with cashews, coriander and tomato wedges around Mix Veg Upma.
