Sorghum is also known as Jowar in Hindi,we call it Cholam in Tamil, It is also called as white millet. This is a good source of dietry fiber, it is gluten-free, high in I can post it as well 🙂 This dosa came out nice crispy and tasty when paired with sambar and chutney makes a filing and tasty breakfast. Steps to make Jowar Dosas/Sorghum Flour Dosas:
  1. Prepare a slightly thinner batter than the regular dosa batter. Mix well and start making right away or wait for 10 minutes before proceeding. Always cook Dosas on a low to medium high heat.

  4. I served them with Split Gram and Coconut Chutney. Roast the dal and the coconut on a low flame along with the grated Ginger. Add the Green Chillies and grind to a paste using little water. You can adjust the water quantity accordingly. I added 3 to 4 tablespoons of water.
  5. Adjust Salt and add the tempering to it. That's it. Enjoy this tempting Chutney with Dosas or Idlis.
