- Prepare 500 gms dry coconut powder
- Take 400 gms sugar powder
- Get 4 elaichi powder
- Take 15-20 chopped kaju badam pista mix for garnishing
- Take Pinch red color
- Make ready Pinch green color
Fresh grated coconut in cardamom flavoured sugar syrup. Coconut Burfi is made with coconut powder combined with a cardamom flavored sugar syrup. This is a scrumptious dessert or snack. Coconut burfi / thengai burfi is very easy to make and only with few ingredients.

- Heat kadai roste coconut powder for 3-4 min and keep aside in other plate.
- In same pan add sugar powder and same qty water make one taar chasni (syrup)add elaichi powder in to sugar syrup.
- Add roste coconut powder in to pan and well mix together.
- Coconut diveded in 32part in one part add red color 2nd part add green colour.
- Take one aluminuim cake mold square size and Grease it properly if you want to sprinkle coconut dry powder for dusting.
- Add green portion in layer 2nd layer red color and tap to mould.
- Keep in fridge for 30 min and unmold coconut burfi and pieces as well.
- Ready your coconut burfi garnish with chopped kaju badam and pistachino.
Easy step by step photos method, without sugar syrup consistency. I wonder why I have not attempted to make this. Coconut Burfi / Thengai Burfi is hubbys fav and my MIL is an expert in making this. To me she makes the best coconut burfis - perfect in texture and shape too. As diwali is nearing, I wanted to try this.
