- Take a pan on medium flame and pour 10 tablespoons of cooking oil

- Now add 1/2 kg cube cut potatoes along with 5 to 6 pieces of dried plums and fry well for 5 minutes.
- After that, add half sliced green chillies and fry for 2 minutes.
- Now add 1 cup of water and cover the pan for five minutes to cook the potatoes.
- After five minutes, uncover the pan and dry the water.
- Now add 8 cups of water and wait for the boil.
- When the water starts boiling, add 5 cups of pre soaked basmati rice and mix with light hand.
- When the water is absorbed and the start to bubble, cover the pan on low flame and leave for 10 minutes to cook the rice.
