This okra is definitely NOT that. It's crispy and flavorful and it'll absolutely have you wanting more. This crispy Indian okra (bhindi) recipe tastes kinda like spicy fried green beans only it's much, much better.

The ingredients needed to make Crispy Okra:
  1. Get 500 gms okra(bhindi)
  2. Make ready 2 tbsps besan(gram flour)
  3. Get 1 tsp Coriander powder
  4. Prepare 1 tsp Amchoor Powder
  5. Get 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  6. Get 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  7. Prepare to taste Salt
  8. Make ready 2 tbsp Mustard Oil

Note this post was updated September. Kurkuri means crispy and Bhindi means okra. This spicy, crispy okra is simply delicious. The okra is marinated in spices, coated with flour, and then deep fried for a satisfying crunch.

Steps to make Crispy Okra:
  1. Wash and dry ladyfinger. Cut into thin slanting pieces
  2. Now sprinkle besan along with all other masalas. Mix well.
  3. After adding the dry masala mixture on top of cut ladyfinger,mix it well with wet hand.
  4. Keep aside for 5-7minutes. By then you can preheat your air fryer as required. You can Grease the bhindi with mustard oil too.
  5. Once air fryer is heated enough put half quantity of coated ladyfinger in air fryer and let it cook at 160 degrees for 10 min. You can add oil now if not used before
  6. When one batch is done remove it and add rest of the bhindi to cook
  7. Take out the crispy bhindi in a bowl and serve hot

Crispy, salty, and delicious, these homemade baked okra chips are roasted until light and crunchy. There's a grocery store in our area that I visit once, maybe twice. Okra is my favorite vegetable ever. I love the hairy pod, the gooey slime and the soft texture. I especially love crispy Southern fried okra.
