- Get 1 cup Rice flour
- Prepare 1 cup water
- Make ready pinch salt
- Get 1 cup fresh shredded coconut
- Get 1/2 cup jaggery
- Prepare 1 tsp cardamom powder

- Take As needed Ghee

Steps to make Patolya:
- Boil water adding salt to it
- Off the flame and add rice flour to it
- Mix well and cover with a lid and keep aside to cool
- Knead a soft dough of it….add water if required
- Lather oil all over and keep aside
- In a pan or kadai, add 1tbsp ghee
- Add coconut and jaggery and mix well untill the jaggery melts
- Saute untill the filling dries
- Transfer to a bowl and let cool
- Wash and dry turmeric leaves
- Lather the leaves with oil
- Cut in half each
- Roll a roti of a small portion on the dough
- Keep / adjust it on the rolled roti and fold it to one side
- Press the edges so that it do not break
- In a kadai or vessel add 1glass of water and let boil
- Place a hot pot stand on it
- Place a metal strainer or a plate over it
- Cover the plate with other turmeric leaves
- Once the vessel is enough……arrange the turmeric wraps(patolya) on it and let steam for 10 to 15mins
- Take it off once you notice the leaves turning dark..
- Let it cool
- Ready to serve
- Just unwrap and have it
