Rava Cheela is one of the most favored of recent trending foods on earth. It’s simple, it is quick, it tastes delicious. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. They are nice and they look fantastic. Rava Cheela is something that I have loved my whole life.

Rava chilla can be served with any green chutney, tomato chutney or tomato ketchup. You can also serve with coconut chutney. Instant rava cheela is a pancake made using as the name suggests rava/sooji i.e. semolina.

To get started with this recipe, we have to prepare a few components. You can have rava cheela using 2 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Rava Cheela:
  1. Take 1/2 cup rava, 2 tbsp each of grated carrots and capsicum, 1/4 cup of chopped onion, 2 green chilles, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, 3 tbsp coriander leaves, pinch of turmeric, salt to taste
  2. Take 1/2 cup curd, 1 tsp ginger paste, oil as required, 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp of water as required

This cheela is very delicious ,quick,healthy and easy to make. Healthy and easy sooji cheela made easily in few mins. This is so easy to make and is great for busy morning. You can even make the batter in advance and make cheela the next day.

Instructions to make Rava Cheela:
  1. Take rava in a bowl and add curd, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger paste, salt and 1/4 cup water.
  2. Mix well, cover and allow it to rest for 20 minutes or till the rava swells completely. After 20 minutes the rava will absorb all the water and will become soft.
  3. Then add the onion, capsicum, green chilies, shredded carrots and coriander leaves and remaining 1/4 cup water. Then add 2 more tbsp of water to get the desired thick flowing batter consistency.
  4. Heat a tawa or non-stick pan and drizzle some oil over it. Take a spoonful of batter and spread on the tawa in a circular motion to get small cheela. Cook the cheela on a low flame for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. When the cheela is cooked and turns brown spread some oil on the sides and flip it over. Cook the other side as well. Cook till brown spots appear. Serve it warm with the green chutney.
