  1. Put the cooker to heat I used soil pot for boil the dal, add 2cups of water and soaked dal to it
  2. Add salt & turmeric powder and cover with lid for 10 -15 minutes
  3. Put a frying pan to heat add ghee to it when sufficiently hot add cumin seeds, turmeric powder coriander powder, curry leaves too roast it.
  4. Add tomatoes,cook tomatoes till mashed when ghee starts seprating add boiled day &mix well.
  5. Turn off the flame add coriander leaves and garnish with curry leaves
  6. Masoor tadka dal is ready to serve
