The tofu is fried and then cooked in a thick tomato-cashew nut gravy which makes this vegetarian recipe a sheer delight. Heat butter in a heavy bottomed pan and add the bay leaf and ground onion to it. Fry until the raw smell of the onion disappears. Paneer butter masala made in restaurant style.

- Take oil or butter in a pan. Add ginger garlic paste and bay leaf to it. Saute it.
- Then add roughly chopped onions. And let them fry till cooked.

- Now add all the spices as mentioned above. And cook for a while.
- Now transfer this mixture into a blender and grind to a fine paste like this.
- Transfer this into the pan again and add water to adjust the consistency of the gravy. And add tofu to this gravy.
- Cover and let it cook for 5-8 minutes.
- Garnish with some crushed kasturi methi. And it's ready to be served! Enjoy with your choice of bread!š
