- Now add water according and close the lid of the cooker. When the cooker give 2 whistles now switch off the flame.
- Now enjoy masala moong with chapati or rice.
If cooking in a pot, cook it on a medium heat adding more water as needed. Moong dal should be soft cooked. Turn off the heat and add red chilli powder, garam masala and turmeric.
