Steps to make Mastani Chat:
  1. Heat a non-stick saucepan, add orange juice, black peppercorns, cardamom, clove, star anise, nutmeg powder, cinnamon stick, boil it on medium heat for 10 to15 mins and stir this continuously. Add all the dry ingredients in this mixture, mix well. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into round tikkis. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick kadhai and shallow fry the tikkis, a few at a time, till golden brown. Drain all the tikkis on absorbent paper. Tikkis (patties) are ready.
