- Wash thoroughly pui shaag and drain the water completely.Slice the stems separately.Heat oil and add paanch phoron and 1 dry red chilli.When they crackle,add the chopped onion and garlic paste.Lightly fry and add the cubed veggies.Add the sliced pui stems and fry on low flame.Add red chilli powder,turmeric,salt and sugar to taste.Toss all.Add 1 cup water and cook covered on low flame till half done.Now add the pui leaves and toss.
- Cook till the vegetables and leaves are fully done and well fried.Serve as a side dish with rice and dal.
