This kulfi is for all the meetha paan lovers! Betel leaf is commonly consumed as paan in India and other parts of Southeast Asia. The other day I got these paan leaves from the Indian store and that's how I got around making this kulfi.

The ingredients needed to make Paan Kulfi (Meetha Paankulfi):
  1. Prepare paan leaves
  2. Make ready pistachio
  3. Get gulkand
  4. Prepare fennel seeds
  5. Get sugar
  6. Take boiled milk
  7. Get milk powder/ khoya

Instructions to make Paan Kulfi (Meetha Paankulfi):
  1. Take a grinder add paan leaves, gulkand, fennel seeds, pistachios into a smooth paste. add little milk if needed set aside.
  2. Take a pan add milk bring to a boil. Simmer and cook in low flame till milk reduced.
  3. Once milk reduced add milk power/ khoya, sugar mix well. Cook for few minutes.
  4. Add paan paste and simmer for 5 minutes and remove from flame.
  5. Pour in moulds and freeze for 8 hours.
  6. Serve paan kulfi as dessert.

There is a variety of Paan made in India like magai pan, meetha pan and off late you also get chocolate paan which is my favorite. Kulfis are very refreshing during summer seasons.
