Instructions to make Upma:
  1. Take a pan. Add one cup sooji and dry roast it for 4-5 mins.
  2. Take out sooji in a bowl and in same pan add oil and then add rai let ie splutter and then add chana dal,curry leaves and urad dal. Fry it for few seconds then add chopped onion, ginger and green chillies. Fry it and then add sugar to it. After that add chopped tomatoes to it. Cover it and cook it for sometime. After that add 3 cups of water to it. Let it boil, once it starts boiling slowly add roasted sooji to it mix it properly. Finally cover it and let it cook in low flame for 5 mins.
  3. After five mins. Check it whether it is cooked properly or not and then finally serve it.. U can garnish with coriander leaves
