- Add salt and water and cook until the dals get soft.
- In a blender,add cooked mutton and blend and transfer it into a bowl.
- In the same blender,add cooked dals and blend and keep aside.
- In a pot, add oil, add onions and fry until golden brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste and saute.
- Add red chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix well.
- Add yogurt, mix and cook on low flame for 5 mins.
- Add the blended paste of dals and mutton into it.
- Mix well and cook it on low flame.
- After 15 mins switch off the flame.
- Haleem is ready.
- Serve haleem with fried onions, lemon slice and coriander leaves and serve hot.
