Honey chilli cauliflower is a famous Indo-Chinese recipe dipped in sauces and deep fried coated with batter. It is a delicious starter for any occasion and can be prepared in no time. This is the cousin sister of gobi manchurian. LOL.because it slightly resembles manchurian but lot.
Steps to make Honey chilli gobhi:
- First of all, separate the florets of gobhi and wash and clean them. Now make a batter of gram flour adding salt, red chilli powder, turmeric and cumin powder. Add water and adjust consistency. It must be pouring consistency. It should be a semi thick batter. Now dip each florets into the batter and deep fry them. Prepare the gobhi vada.
- Now heat the pan. Add 2 tsp butter and 2 tsp oil. Add garlic to it and let it saute. Now add onions and capsicum and saute for a minute. Add tomatoes and saute again. Now add cabbage and mix everything well and let it cook for some time.
- Now add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, red chilli sauce and tomato ketchup. Mix everything well. Add some water as per the desired consistency of the gravy. Let it simmer now add the cooked gobhi vada into the gravy. Cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes. Add 1 tsp honey and mix well.
- Now garnish with sprinkling sesame seeds and Coriander leaves.
