Instructions to make Chilli Bhajji/Deep Fried Peppers:
- Wash the peppers (chillies) nicely and wipe them with a kitchen towel. Cut into halves. Make a sharp slit on the peppers using a knife. Take out all the inner seeds slowly if you want to reduce the heat.
- In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients for the batter. Add water little by little and make a thick batter (thick but flowing).
- In a pan, heat enough oil to deep fry.
- Dip the chillies in the prepared batter. Coat the peppers with the batter nicely and drop them into the hot oil one by one.
- Fry until nice golden and drain into paper towels.
- Serve hot with tea and enjoy.
