There is another version which is a stuffed bajji. Hot bajji is perfect with a cup of chai. There is few things you have to keep in mind when making the bajji or the bajji will get too spicy. So what i do is deseed my peppers.

Instructions to make Chilli Bhajji/Deep Fried Peppers:
  1. Wash the peppers (chillies) nicely and wipe them with a kitchen towel. Cut into halves. Make a sharp slit on the peppers using a knife. Take out all the inner seeds slowly if you want to reduce the heat.
  2. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients for the batter. Add water little by little and make a thick batter (thick but flowing).
  3. In a pan, heat enough oil to deep fry.
  4. Dip the chillies in the prepared batter. Coat the peppers with the batter nicely and drop them into the hot oil one by one.
  5. Fry until nice golden and drain into paper towels.
  6. Serve hot with tea and enjoy.
