  1. Take a container add turad Dal wash it nicely and take a press cooker add turad Dal & water boil it 3whistles.
  2. Take a pan add oil heat it Cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste,onion, coconut,tomato fry it well & grind it fine paste.
  3. In same pan add oil heat it add mustard seeds,Cumin seeds, hing, onion,girnded paste of onion tomato coconut paste fry it & add turad Dal, turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder,Cumin coriander powder, brown sugar (file) add & fry it well & add water boil it nicely.

Saute until dal turns golden brown. Switch off the flame, add grated coconut and saute the coconut in the heat of the pan itself.
