  5. With the help of a silicon brush grease the appe pan with oil.Place the appe pan on low flame & pour about 1 tbsp or fill up 2/3 rds with the batter in each whole of the appe pan.
  6. Place a banana slice on it, then pour little date palm jaggery(liquid).Top it with coconut jaggery mix & dry fruits like cashew, kismis.
  7. Cover the filling with the batter & cover the appe pan with a lid.After sometime with a wooden tong flip the hopper & cook the other side.
  8. Serve it hot with date palm jaggery/ khejur gud(liquid) specially on makar, paush sankranti.
