Steps to make Kofta:
- Firstly grate boiled potatoes and cottage cheese together in a bowl.
- Add all the spices in it(garam masala, jeera powder, coriander powder, black pepper, red chilli powder and salt in it)
- Now add cornflour to it for binding and mix all the ingredients nicely.
- Now make small balls of the mixture and coat it with cornflour nicely.
- Now take a pan heat oil in it and put all the balls into the oil and deep fry it.Make it crisp
- Now take out the balls from the oil andvplace it in the napkinto soak excess oil from it.
- Now take another pan and heat 1-2 tbsp oil in it and put the chopped onion in it.
- Fry it until the colour changes.
- Add tomatoes, cashew nuts, ginger, Garlic and green chilli to it.
- Cook it for 2 minutes then add water to it and bring it to a boil.
- Let it boil for 3-4minutes.
- Turn off the gas flame and let it cool down
- Once it gets cooled blend it in a mixture to form a puree.Now the puree is made then again place it in a pan and cook it.
- Add all the spices and salt in it.
- Cook it for about 4-5 minutes unless it separates oil from it.
- Put the balls in it and cream for garnishing.
- Serve it hot.
