  1. Prepare Pac Choi
  2. Get clove Garlic
  3. Prepare 1 tbls peanut oil

This simple stir-fry recipe has only four ingredients, pak choi (sometimes called bok choy), garlic, salt and a bit of oil for frying. Keeping it simple really brings out the flavour. You can add meat or tofu to make it more substantial. Cut the pak choy in half lengthways and place in a large pan.

Instructions to make Pac Choi with garlic:
  1. Trim off the root end of the Pac Choi.
  2. Separate the leaves and cut each leaf in half lengthwise, wash the leaves under cold running water and set aside. Chop the garlic clove into small pieces
  3. In a large pan or wok heat the peanut oil until smoking, add the garlic and stir for about 30 seconds
  4. Add the pac Choi to the pan and stir fry for about 2 mins until the leaves start to wilt and serve.
  5. A great alternative to noodles or rice. I served mine with Chinese sticky pork by Lesley Rigden

Remove the pak choy pieces and place them in a serving bowl. Add cornfour to the wok and cook till the sauce thickens.
