  1. In a Kadai, add 1 tsp butter and 2 tsp oil. Add bay leaves, cloves, dalchini, pepper, dhaniya, cashew nuts, jeera,red chillies,ginger and saute it on low flame. Then add chopped tomatoes and saute it till tomatoes become soft.Allow it to cool and then grind it to smooth paste.
  2. In another wide pan add little ghee and on low flame add Paneer cubes and fry it till it gets little golden colour on both sides. Do not fry more. Boil water in which little salt is added and keep it aside. Now add fried Paneer to it. By doing this Paneer will get soft and absorb salt.
  3. Now in kadai add 2 to 3 tsp butter and add the grinded paste in it. At medium flame stir this mixture and add turmeric powder,kashmiri red chilli powder,dhaniya jeera powder and salt.Stir it continuously, now crush Kasuri methi in your palms and then add it to above gravy and mix. Add a glass of water and cover it and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
  4. Now add garam masala to this. Slightly squeeze water from Paneer cubes and add it to the gravy in the Kadai. Now cover and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.Finally add finely chopped coriander leaves to it.
  5. Delicious Shahi Paneer Butter Masala is ready to serve with hot roti.
