  2. Make ready 500 grams potatoes

  7. Take 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  17. Prepare 1 water as needed
  18. Make ready 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  19. Prepare 1 pinch bicarbonate soda
  20. Prepare 1/2 tsp hot oil
  21. Get 1 pinch salt
  22. Prepare 1/2 tsp cheyene pepper powder or red pepper flakes

  1. Boil potatoes till tender lightly mash set aside
  2. Heat oil add mustard seed when they crackle add curry leaves
  3. Add the rest of the tempering ingredients except cilantro cook 3 minutes but dont let the mixture burn
  4. Add the tempering to the mashed potatoes, along with the chopped cilantro
  5. Form tempering and potatoes Into golf ball sized balls set aside
  6. Mix batter not thick and not thin at the end of ingredients add bicarbonate at the end when batter is right adding hot oil lastmix quickly
  7. Heat oil for deep frying
  8. dip each ball in the batter and deep fry until golden brown in color.
