  6. Make ready 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  7. Make ready 1 chopped green chili

Add mashed potatoes, coarsely groundnuts, sugar, rice powder, chopped green chillies, chopped green coriander and curry. Sabudana vada, also called 'sabu vada', is a traditional deep fried snack from Maharashtra, India. It is often served with spicy green chutney and along with hot chai and is best eaten fresh. Steps to make Sago Vada:
  1. Firstly, in a large bowl take sago and soak with enough water for 4 hours
  2. Drain the water from the soaked sabudana very well. When properly soaked, the sabudana pearl should get mashed when pressed. If you feel some hardness in the center, then soak for some more time
  3. Take a large bowl, add soaked sago, potatoes, peanuts, ginger paste, cumin powder, chopped green chili, coriander leaves, and salt. Mix and mash well with your hand
  4. Make vada with your palm
  5. Heat oil in a pan for deep-frying, fry both side until golden brown
  6. Finally, serve sabudana vada hot along with chutney
