  1. Prepare 1/2 cup sago
  2. Take 1/2 cup boiled and mashed potato
  3. Take 1 tsp rock salt
  4. Get 1 chopped green chilli
  5. Take 1 tbsp lemon juice
  6. Take 2-3 chopped curry leaves
  7. Take 1 /2tsp black pepper powder
  8. Take 1 tsp cumin powder(optional,if you do'nt take in fast,avoid it)
  9. Prepare 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  10. Prepare 2-3 chopped curry leaves
  11. Prepare 200 ml oil for frying

These fried vadas (fritters) are made with sabudana (sago) and require only a handful of ingredients. Sabudana vada, traditionally an ingredient used during fasts, sabudana is a favourite amongst Maharashtrians. It lends itself to such lovely recipes, such as these vadas! Steps to make Sabudana Vada:
  1. Drain water from sago completely and take in a bowl.
  2. Mash the potato and put inthe bowl.
  3. Add all spices,chopped leaves,chopped green chilli and rock salt.
  4. Mix them all to combine well.Make even sized 4 tikkies.
  5. Heat oil and deep fry vadas on medium flame.
  6. Serve with chutney of your choice.
