- Take 4 tbsp besan
- Take as per taste Salt
- Take 1 tsp Garam masala
- Make ready 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- Prepare 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

- Get 1 Chopped green chilli
- Prepare 1 tsp chopped coriander
- Get 1 pinch Ajwain
- Get 1 pinch hing
- Make ready 1 tbsp Oil
- Get 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- Prepare 1/2tsp Lime juice

Steps to make Batata vada:
- Mash the potatoes. Add in some salt chopped green chillies turmeric powder ginger garlic paste lime juice hing and chopped coriander leaves and mash well.
- Add besan in a bowl. Add some salt red chilli powder and a pinch of hing. Add water and make a slurry
- Make equal sized balls out of the potato mixture.
- Heat an appe pan. Add oil drops in the cavities.
- Dip the potato balls in the besan slurry and add in the cavities.
- Cook the vadas from all sides adding drops of oil on between.
- Cook till crisp. Remove from the appe pan and serve with any sauce.
