The ingredients needed to make Drumstick fish gravy:
  1. Prepare 1 small size drumstick
  2. Make ready 5 Onion medium
  3. Make ready 50 gram chopped garlic
  4. Make ready 1 kg fish (any kind of gravy fish)
  5. Make ready 3 tomatoes
  6. Prepare 1/4 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
  7. Get 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds
  8. Get 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  9. Get 1 teaspoon Coriander leaves
  10. Get 1 teaspoon curry leaves
  11. Take 4 tablespoon Oil
  12. Get 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  13. Prepare to taste red chilli powder
  14. Get 1 Lemon size tamarind to soak in warm water
  15. Take to taste Salt
  16. Take 1 spoon coriander powder
  17. Get 1/2 tsp black pepper Powder
  18. Prepare 2-3 green chillies

The term This curry is combination of fish, drumsticks and raw mango, simmered in roasted coconut with spices. Clean the drumsticks, and make two to three slits on it. In a mixing bowl, take ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, coriander. STIR FRIED DRUMSTICK / MURINGAKKA THORAN.

  1. In a pan add oil once it's hot add Jeera, mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds and once it's popping add chopped garlic and fry onian until the raw flavour of onian goes out then add curry leaves, green chilies 2 sliced and mix well once the onian colour changes add sliced tomatoes and mix well.
  2. Once the tomatoes are cooked and oil is splitting out add chopped drumstick,salt and mix well and cook for 10 min in low flame. In a bowl add tamrind water, pepper powder,red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt mix well and add into the pan and cook for at least 20 minutes until the flavors are mixed well and cooked throughly.
  3. Once it's all cooked add the fishes into pan and cover with a lid for 10 min and add coriander leaves for flavour and it's ready to taste
