- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, once it starts to splutter add the urad dal, hing, curry leaves, fry it for 1 minute.
- Next add the green chilies and chopped onion, sauté it for 2 mins. Next add the ginger paste and again fry it for another 2-3 minutes.
- Next add the chopped beans (you can also add green peas), fry it for 1 min, next add the tomatoes, add salt to taste and cook the tomatoes until it becomes soft and mushy.
- Next lower the flame and add turmeric powder and red chilli powder and cook the masala well for about 3-4 mins.
- Now add the roasted rava/suji, gently mix it well. Next carefully add the hot water and stir it continuously. Cover and allow it to cook for 4-5 mins and it's done.
