- In a non stick pan heat oil and add cumin seeds. When it splutters add mustard seeds. Add Chana Dal and Urad Dal. Fry until golden in colour but on a low flame. Add chopped onions, slit whole red chilli, slit green chillies and curry leaves. Stir.
- Add chopped tomatoes and stir until softened. Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder and stir well. Add 2.5-3 cups water.
- Add Rava slowly in batches and stir well so that no lumps are formed. After the rava is cooked and softened set aside.
- Plate and add lime wedges and enjoy
