Steps to make Instant Sambar:
  1. In a jar add all the ingredients below to girnd and make a fine paste adding water
  2. In a kadai heat oil and add mustard seeds, turmeric and hing, let it splutter now add curry leaves and thinly sliced onion and saute.. Once the onions are cooked add the veggies and cook.. Can make it without veggies too.. Here I have used only green peas..
  3. Once the vegetables ard cooked add the masala paste add water to adjust consistency,add salt and jaggery and boil for a 5 to 10 mins..
  4. Sambar is now ready to serve.. Serve it idly, dosa or rice..

So sambar sadam was my first recipe in instant pot and I did make my attempt at it without lot of doubts but INSTANT POT did an amazing job in clearing all my doubts I should say. This recipe for instant pot sambar is so flavorful and tasty. It's the perfect soup to make any time of the year because it's fresh and light and filling all at the same time.
