Sambar is a traditional South Indian stew that goes well with idli, dosa, steamed rice or can be served as a soup. Any South Indian meal, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, would be considered incomplete without Sambhar or one of its variants. - Now heat oil in Kadai. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, red dry chilli, fry it for a minute.
- Add salt, turmeric powder,coriander powder, sambar powder,asafoetida,and tamarind water
- After a min add boiled dal and vegetables in it(if need mash dal with masher smoothly).
- Boil it for 10 min on medium to low flame.
- Smabar is ready to serve with dosa or rice
