  16. Get As needed Green coriander leaves finely chopped

This one is my MIL's special sambar. So I make it at least once in a week. It tastes similar to hotel sambar. Idli Sambar is an unbeatable combo, I love to eat idli with both sambar and coconut chutney.

Instructions to make Sambar(with IDLI):
  1. Wash and clean the dal.
  2. Soak it for one hour
  3. Then boil it in the pressure cooker for 15 minutes by adding sufficient water,, approximately 3 cups
  4. Heat A wok,, Add mustard seeds,, and hing,roast it till done..add zeera to it let it roast till aroma comes out
  5. Add Curry leaves to it
  6. Now Add chopped onion,,ginger..grated raw turmeric,,chopped green chillies,,saute them for a while
  7. Then add sliced carrots and French beans to it
  8. Saute them till soft the veggies
  9. Add All the MASALA S,,saute them till aroma,,add salt,,and boiled dal to it.
  10. Add imli pulp and some more water as the consistency needed.
  11. Add sugar
  12. Sambar is ready to serve.add chopped coriander
  13. Serve hot with steamed rice,, DOSA,, IDLIS,,Vadas..as you Wish.
